Hey gals and guys! I cannot begin to tell you how
stoked I am to be serving along side you guys in Brazil this fall. I can't wait
to hear your stories of how God has called you to Brazil and I'm excited to be
apart of your lives being forever changed. God is going to do some incredible
things to and through us this fall.

So a little about me...

The basics:

Well as you could have probably guessed my name is
Ryan. Bodine. I'm from Columbus, INDIANA. Currently I'm serving in Haiti as a
project leader for STM trips. God's been doing incredible things here. I
finished up college last year. I transferred a few times but ended up at Palm
Beach Atlantic U. and absolutely loved the people there and the location was
nice. I'm very much a warm body. I love the beach and being out in the sun. I
have my BA in Communication or as I so loving call it, talking. I'm rather laid
back and pretty even keel. I like to joke around and have a good time.

Things I like:

- I really
enjoy music. I play bit of guitar and a
tiny bit on the piano. I love listening to music. I almost always have music
on. Going to concerts is one of my favorite things to do. Music mmmm! Some of
my current favorites would be:  John Mayer, Brett Dennen, Adele, Damien Rice,
Coldplay, Jason Mraz, The Fray, Starfield, Shane and Shane, Hillsong United,
Tenth Avenue North. I also like my fair share of country (gotta have that
twang) and even like some Rap/hiphop. Believe it or not I was in marching band (drumline) for two years in high school.

-  I'm pretty athletic and really enjoy playing
sports! I'll play just about anything. The mighty Indianapolis COLTS are my
favorite. I know all their names and like to assume that they are all
Christians. I like college football and basketball. Baseball is pretty chill to
watch too. Sports are great!

-  And now for a grab bag of all sorts of fun things: 
We live near a lake so during the summer I love spending all day on the lake
tubing, kneeboarding and attempting to wake board. I like girly and funny
movies. I'm a mac guy. I'm an equal opportunity candy eater. Downy laundry
softner is my comfort smell.

Things important to me:

My family! Dad, Mom and older sister Lindsey (dog.
Stormie. cat. Zoey). These three are an incredible support system to me. They
are people that I know I can always depend on and are always looking out for my
best interest. I couldn't have even wished to be blessed with a better family.
We have each other's backs and love each other with a genuine love. It has been
such a blessing to be apart of a family that loves God and has God as their
foundation. My parents have both been ultimate roles models of how to live a
life for Jesus. My favorite thing about my family is that we have a no garbage
policy. You leave the garbage of the outside world outside. Our house is our
safe place where you can be you and just live.

My friends. They make life beautiful. I don't know
how I got surrounded by such great people. We are all a little different but
love each other all the same.

so all
those things are me and all those people are really important but lets face it,
its not about me. This life isn't my life.  Its all about him. Its all about his name being made famous.
About bringing his kingdom here to earth. Its about his love being revealed
through us to this hurting world. Its about living this radical life of
following Jesus that as Christians we are called to live.
