Well, not exactly too sure what to write about myself, so I'll just kinda see where my brain takes me! Haha. As you already know, my name is Joshua Stark, but i usually go by Josh, and sometimes Iron-man or just Stark. Im 18 years old, and just graduated high school this past year, but was home-schooled from 7th till the present. During my senior year I was involved with probably the GREATEST sport ever... Cheerleading. haha I was on a competition cheerleading team for my senior year, and had more fun during that, than any other sport I've played!
I've actually been to Brasil once before, during the summer of my freshman year, and just fell in love with the country. I'm extremely excited to be going back, and hopefully see some of the people I have kept in contact with who live in Brasil!
Anyways, I guess ill go ahead and follow along with some of the stuff Ryan posted, so here goes nothing!!
1. Food that im worried about missing while in Brasil? - Probably... A delicious Jasons Deli sandwich haha.
2. Embarrassing music? - Hmm... well, i have a ton of Disney, Frank Sinatra ( everyone can use some Sinatra!) Wicked (yes, the musical haha) Sweeny Todd (another epic musical)
3. 160 characters to describe me? Who am i? This is gonna be tough but here it goes - Livin' with Christ and lovin' every minute of it! Not sure where God is leading me, but I know its something big! Sometimes a lil' crazy, sometimes perfectly sane, but at least i keep things interesting! Excited for what God is going to do through us in Brasil!
4. Nicknames - Well my name is Joshua C. Stark, but most people call me Josh. I also tend to go by Ironman, Starks, big brother, the giant, bubbie... the list goes on
5. I'm leaving in 2.5 weeks for brazil, and I need prayer for my youth group. I have been with them in the highs and lows, and am excited where God has brough us so far. But myself, and alot of the other older student leadership are gone off to college and such. So my prayer is for new leadership to step up, for wisdom to be endowed upon them, and that God continues to grow and bless the ministry i have been with for so long!
Well I guess that's about it! I'm sure you will get to know me a bit better, especially seeing as we will be spending 2 and a half months together! I'm SO excited, can't wait to see not only what God does through us, but what He does IN us!
